Finally!

A day nice enough for Lincoln to ride his "car" outside... all this winter has been no fun so far, we had to move the cars out of the garage and let him drive it in there for a few days. Loving the 60s this week though!

Merry Christmas

Vroom Vroom

Daddy is the BEST helper!

LOVES time with his Uncle Bubba!

Passed out at 7 pm, long FUN day!

Lincoln had a great Christmas this year, of course, when you are the baby of the family, you are pretty much guaranteed to be spoiled!!!! Even though he may be the baby now, ultimately he is the oldest grandchild for my Mom... so he should enjoy it while it lasts. Of course, I am not having any more kids, and I dont see my brother or sister having one anytime soon- so I think he is safe!

Ho Ho Ho

Lincolns 3rd pic with santa....

Looks alot like his 2nd...

hahaha, maybe next year we will get a smile!

Finally got around to scanning...

Lincolns first "school" picture. He is LOVING his class, he only goes once a week, and this week there is no school because of Christmas, he has already asked me several times if he can go see his "friends", which is what he calls school. Just glad he likes it so much!

Lincolns first amusement park adventure, a SUCCESS!

Joey got Holiday in the Park passes from work this year and we wanted to take Lincoln to 6 Flags for the first time! We tried to go on a Saturday, got to the park at 10am ready to go, but the park didnt open until 2, so that did not happen. I guess since a major part of Holiday in the Park is the lights, they open later.

After that, I was afraid we would not make it back, as I was not about to take Lincoln in the cold. However- this is Texas, and 4 days before Christmas it was a beautiful 80 degree day and we ended up taking him after all!

Not only did we have tickets, but so did alot of our family. Shawna and her crew came, and my brother and sister came also. A good time was had by all :) And, Lincoln was tall enough to ride all the kids rides so we got to do quite a bit!

Gaylord Texan

We took Lincoln to the Gaylord for the second year last night. Last year we went with no issue: parked, walked around, had a great time. This year- the line to get onto the road the Gaylord is on was backed up to the highway and we had to park in an alternate lot and be shuttled to the door (that turned out to be Lincolns favorite part though so it worked out, he loved the "bus"). The place was SO busy we took almost NO pics, every step you took you were intruding on someones pic in progress. We wanted to eat, everywhere had HOURS of wait time. What a mess. And to top it off, I really think the decorations were better the year before.

Oh well, tradition right! Gotta get in the middle of the hustle and bustle at some point.

Oh, and one final note- this was our first weekend of NO DIAPERS (except bedtime)!!!!! Lincoln has been "potty trained" at home for a while but we never took him out of the house without a diaper. This weekend he went shopping and running errands, went to Granny and Gammys house and did it ALL accident free! Amazing! Pretty soon I am going to have a talking kiddoe with no diapers- so weird. Exciting and sad all at the same time.
