Lincoln the Lion

Today Lincoln and I went to downtown McKinney with his Aunt Shawna, Uncle Michael and cousins Corbin and Gage. It was really busy so we didn't stay long. There were alot of kids in costume, but it was so hot! Lincoln couldn't stay in his outfit for long.

Once Joey got off work we went to the Fall Festival at church. They had slides and bounce houses and rides, but Lincoln isn't big enough for any of that yet. He actually slept most of the time we were there, but he got to go out looking cute in his Lion costume.

Now that Lincoln is 6 months old we figured it was time he start eating some food. He doesn't go to the Dr until Monday, but I figured we have waited long enough. We gave him some sweet potatoes and he really seemed to like them. Feeding him is not easy and very messy but I figure it wont get any easier for awhile so I might as well just get used to it!
(By the way, his shirt was already soaked from some water he was "drinking" out of his sippy cup, that was not from the food! )

Buddies

Lincoln was playing on the couch next to me Wednesday when all of the sudden he got real quiet. I looked back and he had fallen asleep with Winnie, they took a nap together for about 30 minutes. It was too cute! Winnie stays by his side most of the time, I can't tell if it is because she likes him, or because he gets all the attention and she wants some too!

Sunday At Grannys

Joey went to the Cowboys game today, so since I was all alone, I took Lincoln to my moms. My mom has really thick, pretty grass so I thought I'd put Lincoln in it to see what he thought. Here are a few pictures, he really didn't know what to think.






My sister has a balance beam she got for Christmas a few years ago when she was in gymnastics. For whatever reason, she decided to drag it back out. Lincoln liked it!

6 Months Old!

Everyone says this about their children, but its true- they grow up SO fast. Lincoln turned 6 months old today, that's half way to a year! My tiny baby is growing up, well, my tiny baby that has never been tiny a day in his life, He's no longer an infant, and quickly becoming a little boy.

Right now he rolls around to get where he wants to go, pretty soon he'll be crawling. He hasn't sat up on his own yet, but he's very close so I am sure that is coming soon. He is gorgeous, I must say! He lost all his hair at 3 months, and now that it has grown back in it looks just like his Daddy's. Everyone says he looks like me, but I see Joey more and more the older he gets.

6 more months and he'll be a year old- I can't even imagine! I cant wait for him to be older and get to do all the things we have planned, but I know how quick this time will fly so I am also trying to enjoy the now and not be too anxious for the future.
