First trip to the pool
Today my brother came over and we took Lincoln to my community pool for the first time this season. I got in the water up to about my knees and that was it (I hate cold water) but Ryan and Lincoln had fun!

A really great weekend
Friday started with Joey calling and saying that his store was out of power. Me and Lincoln headed out to Plano to go eat with him so he could go back afterwards and reboot everything. He works across the street from Collin Creek Mall so we ended up at Amazing Jakes.

Lincoln is getting older and he now realizes what "fun" is so he was not interested in eating, he just wanted to go play! To ride the go carts you must be 36" tall, I don think they planned on many two year olds being that tall- but Lincoln is! He was too small to fit in the seat belt, so Joey just held on to him (no alot of speed on these indoor electric carts). Lincoln LOVED it!

Then on to other rides. Lincoln is too short to press the gas so Joey sat with him and held the gas pedal while Lincoln did the rest, he thought this was super funny!

And of course, a train ride- choo choo!

Saturday we went to the Lang's for Koltons 3rd birthday party! They had a bounce house for the kids. They also have a tractor they keep on their land which was, of course, Lincolns favorite, and a gator- which Lincoln loves!

Sunday we ran some errands, including getting some flowers for the front yard which I have been trying to do for weeks. Planted them myself! :)

We had dinner at Yummy Texas Roadhouse with Shawna's crew, here are the boys while we waited for our table, running on the benches- I was just waiting for Lincoln to fall and bust his head- but all was okay.

And last, Joey and Lincoln on our walk before I came in to watch the 2.5 hour series finale of Lost that I was recording so that I could skip all commercials!

Life really doesnt get much better than this!
