For Lincolns birthday the first 2 years we took him to great wolf lodge. Our plan was to take him every year- at least until he was old enough to ask for something different. For his 3rd birthday, we planned to do that same until we realized his birthday fell on Easter. We didnt want to get up, do the Easter Bunny thing, go to church and then go to the hotel to celebrate the same day so we put a hold on going to great wolf, until last weekend. We finally got to go and this was deffinitely the best year yet. Lincoln was big enough to go on rides and slides, and because it was August- we got to go in the outside area for the first time! It was a great mini-vacation and we cant wait to go back for his 4th birthday!
He was very brave- last year we didnt get him on the smallest slide till the morning we were leaving, this time he did that immeditately, moved up to the bigger slide, and THEN moved over to the "big kid" slides too, I was very impressed!
