Happy Thanksgiving

All of us posing in our matching shirts

Hanging out on Aunt Marissas trampoline

He likes to bounce (no too hard!)

Lincoln got to experience his first Thanksgiving yesterday. First, we went to my moms for lunch, then to Aunt Shawna's for dinner with Joeys family. Lincoln got to play all day, which was great, but he was one tired baby. He couldn't keep his eyes open by 8 o'clock. He is getting really good at crawling too, Ill keep you updated on how that progresses.

Its beginning to look alot like Christmas

Today I took Lincoln to the mall, I didn't plan on getting his picture taken with Santa, but there was no line so I thought "why not". I will get him another one later, because the outfit he is wearing is not exactly in the Holiday Spirit.

We took Lincoln to the tree lighting ceremony is Allen tonight. It was cold, so we only stayed for a little while. Santa was making his debut but we weren't there long enough to see that. Here are the few pictures we got, nothing great.

Getting ready to go into the cold!

Look what I can do!

Lincoln learned a new trick today, he's doing the whole rock back and forth on his hand and knees- I guess that means he will be crawling soon. Oh my, that means a whole lot more work for me! I also gotta feel sorry for the dogs, watch out- here comes the Linkster! haha

Having Fun

Today we took Lincoln to GattiTown in Frisco. He isn't old enough to have alot of fun, but all of the lights and games were very entertaining for him. We also gave him his first piece of pizza. Well, the crust anyway, he got to chew on it while we ate. He thought it was pretty special!

Growing Up

Since our first attempt at putting Lincoln in a high chair at the restaurant went so well, we figured it was time to pull out the high chair at home and put it together. Lincoln thought it was a new toy!

Over the Weekend

We took Lincoln out to eat Saturday night (we do this almost every night, I am not a good cook) and we decided we would try a high chair. Every time we go eat they always try to give us one and we have to tell them no, because Lincoln can not sit up in one yet. Then we have to hold him and he tries to grab everything in his reach. He is sitting much better now, so we gave it a whirl. I used his shopping cart cover for two reasons, one- ewe, restaurants are not clean and two- its padded and helps hold him up. Give him a straw and he was happy as can be, and me and Joey both got to eat at the same time! Usually, I eat while he holds him and then we switch. haha- looks like those days are over.

I thought I would add this picture too, its so funny. Lincoln loves to chew on his toes and he almost never wears socks (they fall right off every time I try to put them on) and he has worn shoes about 4 times in his life. Today, it was cold, so I thought maybe with the shoes, his socks would stay on. He sat in his car seat and chewed on his shoe all the way to Frisco- it was so funny I had to take a picture.
And no, this did not help keep his socks on, the shoes fell off and the socks followed!

Oh how they change!

My brother has a big orange gaming chair made for playing video games or whatever. Lincoln stayed with my mom for two weeks, when he turned 3 months old, when I was sick and in the hospital. I got a few pictures of him in this chair, so when I was at my moms on Friday I took a few more at 6 months. He has changed so much, he lost all his hair at 3 months and by 5 months it had grown back in, that is the biggest difference, but the changes he has made are pretty surprising.

So Cute!

I met our friend Kendra at the mall today. She has a daughter who is exactly one week older than Lincoln. We keep in touch all the time, but since we live SO far away from each other this is the first time the babies have met. It was so funny to see them starring at each other. Lincoln loves to look at himself in the mirror, he tries to grab his reflection and licks it. Today, it was like he was looking in the mirror and the mirror was grabbing back!

They were SO interested in each other. We are definitely gonna have to get them together more often so they can play with each other on their own level- they both have older cousins and young Aunts, but no one around the same age.

We love you Makenna, you too Kendra and Jon :)

He's Doing It

I have been waiting and waiting for Lincoln to start sitting. He is not a pro at it yet, but he definitely has the ability to do it. He just hasn't realized what he is doing yet to know- oh, this is different. Here's proof that he has the skillz! :)

New Toy

Sunday I got Lincoln a new toy, he is sitting pretty good, but he doesn't do it on his own. I was trying to get him something that would "inspire" him to sit. Here are a few pictures of Lincoln (and me) playing with his new toy.
