Weekend Wrapup

Firday night we took Lincoln to eat at peter piper pizza.

Lincoln had more fun putting in the coin and tearing off the tickets than he did playing the actual game.

Saturday we went to the Langs house and Lincoln had fun playing with the kids... didnt get any pics though.

Sunday we got up early and went to the Dallas World Aquarium.

This was neat, there were animals hanging out in the open for you to see- this was a bird at monkey island. There was also a sloth not in a cage- so weird.


This panther was laying right next to the glass (Yes, there was glass between them!)

On the way out a horse taxi let Lincoln pet his horse.

My son is a genius...

...or atleast smarter than his Mom and Dad. We bought a new car this weekend, well new to us, its used. We didn't have a choice because my car is a lease and going back this month! We bought a Yukon which is big- so big we cant pull it in the garage. I was bummed, I thought what a pain, every time I park I have to roll down the window and pull the mirror in. Then... today Lincoln was playing in the drivers seat of the car while I was in the passenger seat looking at something and he pushed a button and both mirrors popped in on their own. Yeah! Now I can pull in and out of the garage without any issue. I feel much better now- all because Lincoln can figure it out better than we can!

Satruday

Saturday we went to cousin Gage's 3rd birthday party at a bounce house! Lincoln went down the big slide a few times and crawled through some of the big bounce thingys- he's not really ready for all that yet but he had fun checking them out.




Afterward Daddy got this pic of me and Lincoln asleep. I am so proud, we cut Lincoln off bottles cold turkey on Tuesday and he hasn't missed them yet! He was getting one at nap and one at bedtime, but it was past time to cut them out. I was worried it would be a problem but has not been at all!

I know Lincoln looks alot like Joey these days, but I think in this one he kinda looks like me. Maybe its because the pic is looking up both our noses which is definitely something he got from me!

Firday

Friday I took Lincoln to lunch at Chick-fil-A. Once the big kids cleared out Lincoln was able to climb through and check it out, we went down the slide once too!

Monday (Sun)day!

Happy Birthday Cousin Gage!

We headed to Hawaiian Falls on Monday to see Lincolns cousins Corbin and Gage, Gage was turning 3! Lincoln had a good time, he was asleep in the car before we hit 121!

These pics are so cute, Corbin and Gage are always right behind Lincoln making sure he is okay! Gage likes to give him hugs and kisses and Corbin watches out for him like he's a little brother.

Open House at Texas Stadium

Saturday I took Lincoln to the new stadium for an "Open House" they had for season ticket holders (since Joey and his friends with tickets were all at work). We wanted to get pics of Lincoln in the locker room- but turns out we weren't allowed in there.

By the way, this is my 100th post since I started this blog!

Haircut #4

Lincoln got another haircut, you almost cant tell, it looks the same- only shorter haha, but all the curls are gone. I am tempted to let his hair grow long and see what his curls do, but it just gets too shaggy in the meantime.

Size 4!

I am kinda sad, I bought Lincoln his first box of size 4 diapers today. This may be the last size he ever wears, assuming he is potty trained before 37 lbs :) My baby boy has grown up so fast!
