Lincolns first Build-a-Bear

Black Friday build-a-bear had their Christmas Moose on sale for $5, this was too good of a deal for me to pass up! Lincoln was not interested at first, but I talked him into it. He got a little more interested when they filled his moose with stuffing, but he especially loved giving him a bath!

I asked Lincoln what he wanted to call him, he said "Bear", so that is the Moose's name :)

Lincolns First Day of School!

Ok, so maybe not school, but today Lincoln started Mothers Day Out. He turned two and a half this month, and since I work from him he is able to stay home with me. We have been VERY lucky to be able to keep him home, but as he gets older, he gets more and more BORED in the day. He LOVES movies, but I feel bad for the kid, watching TV and playing with the dogs all day every day.

We decided to put him in the CLC program that is (luckily) across the street from our house at Prestonwood Baptist Church (North). They offer MDO Tues and Thurs from 9-2. We decided to start with just one day a week, as a trial.

This morning he was happy to take a walk to school (like I said, across the street). He was very cautious walking back to his room and into the class. He stood next to me watching the other kids. I asked him if he wanted to play and he said yes, and I told him he could so he started playing at a table with toys. The teacher asked me to sign him in so I did, and then left. I felt HORRIBLE, I knew he would not be happy when he noticed I left, but you have to be strong right? He did great, he had lots of fun and he says he wants to go again next week. I have my doubts, now that he knows mommy ducks out on him he will probably not be thrilled to go, but I know he will enjoy this time with other kids doing all these FUN activities. Its hard watching your baby grow!

My pics are not very good, his backpack was too heavy for him so I couldnt get one of him "ready for school". He is still cute though.

Ready to go!

this is him telling me no, he doesnt want his back pack because it is to "big"
