Too Cute...

Joey and I went to a wedding last night and Gammy, Joeys Mom, watched Lincoln for us. She taught him a new word. It was the cutest thing I have ever seen, so I had to get a video. Of course, when she taught him she was saying "Gammy" but I just couldn't resist!

Today we went to the mall and Lincoln HAD to ride the carousel. He pretty much thinks it is a must every time we go. He starts freaking out every time he knows we are getting close- even before he can see it!

Family Fun

Thursday me and Lincoln (along with my Mom and Sister) headed out on our first road trip. I have been putting it off for 17 months but finally got up the nerve to try. My relatives all live in Oklahoma City, it's a 3 hour drive. I have not been ready to attempt it until now. He did really good- we left on Thursday during his nap hoping he would sleep most the way- he did not.

After about a 40 minute nap he was up for the last 2 hours of the drive, he did great though- didn't complain at all. We came home Friday night, we left at 9 pm and he slept the whole way home.

Quick trip to garden ridge

I opened up the back door the other day and the wind blew one of my pictures off a shelf. I was mad, not only did the frame break but the glass breaking scratched the picture too. I made a trip to the Lewisville Garden Ridge to replace the frame and they didn't have any (I have to get the same one to match the other pic that didnt fall), the next day I went to the Plano Garden Ridge and they didnt have it either! Great... now what? Well, while we were there Lincoln got to go for a ride.

A Really Fun Day!

Sunday we spent the day with Jason, Bless and their kiddoes. Lincoln had such a good time, it was his first boat ride, his first experience in lake water, and his first ride on a four wheeler- he LOVED all of it! After putting him in the lake to cool off, I took him from Joey and back on the boat, he immediately tried to get back to Joey. I think he would have jumped off the boat if we weren't holding him. He was loving it!

Lincolns hair is getting a little long and it was a little tall this morning while he was eating his pancakes :)

Notice the screwdriver in all the pics? This is Lincolns new favorite thing, he takes it everywhere and never puts it down. More times than not- when I lay him down to nap he has it in his hand. He LOVES this thing.
