Hello 15 Months

Lincoln turned 15 months! He has 8 teeth, has had 3 haircuts (needs another), can walk, tries really hard to have conversations, although we dont know what he is saying, all in all- he is growing up too fast. He is such a little boy, and not so much a baby anymore. Can't wait to see what he learns next!

Last night we took Lincoln over to his cousins house to play, Corbin had Carson over for the night too so, it was a house FULL of boys.

Good bye 14 months

Today is Lincolns last day of 14 monthhood (thats not a word!). Tomorrow he will be 15th months! I guess that means it is time for another haircut!

Today we took Lincoln to eat Lunch at McDonalds with his big cousins Corbin and Gage. Lincoln had his FIRST happy meal! Don't get me wrong, Lincoln has had McDonalds plenty of times before, but this was his first time to get his own meal. He ate quite a bit too! He loves to dip his food, even if it is a food you dont dip, and into some thing that does not go with it!

New Decor

We have this awkward art niche in our front hallway that I have yet to find a decoration that fills the spot. I have looked everywhere, and found a few things that would work, but nothing I have just had to have. Today, I found the perfect fit (ok maybe not, but he thought it was funny!)

Rain Rain go away

Our playdate Tuesday was almost rained out, however by the time we got to the park it was hot and sweaty like any other summer day! Last time Lincoln was here he couldn't walk, so this was alot more fun!

New Cowboys Stadium

This post has nothing to do with Lincoln, but we got to go to the new Cowboys stadium in Arlington on Sunday to see the Mexico vs. Haiti soccer game. We are not soccer fans, but Joey wanted to check out the new stadium and his season ticket seats for the Cowboys season- GO COWBOYS!

Our seats were awesome for this game- 10th row! Joeys season tickets however, not so close :)

Fancy McDonalds!

On the way to The Colony yesterday morning we stopped at the McDonald's in Little Elm, their play area was a giant Pirate Ship! We dont usually take Lincoln to play yet, but he could see it from the dining area and couldn't wait to get in there. Joey had to take him through, he is not tall enough to climb the spaces.

Speaking of Jasper

Jasper has had an infection in his eye for about a year. We take him to the vet every few months and they clean his face. It has been a long road and he only seemed to be getting worse. We assumed, because of his age, that it was just getting close to time for him to go... Then, we moved and took him to see the Prosper vet.

This Dr basically told us that the Dr he had been seeing was a MORON. Jasper doesnt have an eye infection, he has a bad tooth that needs to be pulled. It was so infected the puss (ewe) was coming out his eye. All the medicines we have been giving him have only made it worse, as they contain a steroid which enhances the infection.

Turns out- Jasper is fine! His new medicine has him acting like normal again and he gets his teeth pulled on Monday. Atleast his face wont stink anymore!

Just goes to show you, if something doesnt seem right- get a second opinion!

Breakfast of Champions!

Lincoln likes powdered donuts :) I gave them to him for breakfast today, really by accident. Joey had some left over that he takes to work, and I opened the package to hide Jaspers medicine in one. I gave Lincoln the rest- he loved them!

I think 3 was enough though, because after that he started feeding them to the dogs. He does that alot!

Missing a Shoe?

So now that Lincoln can not go in and out of the dog door as easily as before, he has found a new hobby. His new favorite thing to do is sit in our closet and put all our shoes out the dog door, I think the pictures say it all!

Dog Door fun

Lincoln has tried to go in and out our dog door in the new house, but for the most part he leaves it alone. It is smaller than our old door, and we had them install it in our closet which makes it sort of out of his way (that is the only spot we could put it where the dogs could get in the yard, kinda weird spot, I know!).

The other day he did get all the way out the door, I dont have to worry about it too much, he will outgrow the door in no time.

Restaurant Love

We went to eat at one of 3 restaurants in Prosper the other day and Lincoln made a friend. She was 21 months so she could get around better than Lincoln, she taught him how to go up and down the ramp. It was too cute. He started out crawling up and sliding down on his belly, but after a few trips he was walking up and down. Of course, him sliding down made her want to do it too!
