Great Wolf Lodge
Every year we have taken Lincoln to Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate his birthday. This year was the first time he got to take a friend, MaKenna and Lincoln were born 1 week apart and have always loved spending time together! We had a great time as always, although I am still shocked that my baby boy is turning 4!

Hoppy Easter!
Lincoln had a great Easter weekend! He got to go to a egg hunt in our neighborhood:
And a big Easter egg hunt/ car show at the church:
Saturday night we dyed Easter egss for the first time!
Easter morning Lincoln got lots of goodies from the Easter bunny- he had an all things Angry birds theme this year:
And a living room egg hunt!
Looking EVERYWHERE!
Needed a little help getting some that were too high!
Playing his Angry Birds game:
Mommy and Lincoln- first thing in the morning (ick)
After that, we headed to Aunt Shawna's house and had ANOTHER egg hunt, then Lincoln got a basket of candy from Corbin and Gage's grandparents too- needless to say- our house is STOCKED with candy!
We also had a yummy lunch. We ended the day with a trip to the grocery store to get ready for the week- seems silly that we had to grocery shop on a holiday, but life doesn't stop I guess :)

Getting better
His second game went much better! Maybe there is hope for this season yet. However, I am sure it is more of a day to day kind of thing :) It was a busy Saturday though, opening ceremonies at 11 and a game at 3. Of course, now that they are on a roll, there is a 2 week break due to Easter weekend. Oh well!

Cute...
So this t-ball thing is cute, and a good idea in theory- but its not working out so well. The more we practice and have games, the less Lincoln likes it. There is just not enough action, and he is SO bored, maybe soccer would have been better- either way, at this point I am just hoping he makes it through the season without refusing to play. In the meantime, he sure looks cute in his uniform :)

Ready for his first game

Daddy giving him a pep talk before the game

Lining the kids up in order of batters- not as easy as you'd think

He's ready!

Happy Springtime!
A family friend plants an AMAZING garden of tulips every year for Spring. Sadly, these temperamental flowers only bloom for one month. We were able to borrow her yard for a mini photo shoot (she said they would only be around a few more days :( so much work for such a short period of time, but definitely beautiful enough to be worth it)

Mommy and Me time

My sister was with us and helped with getting Lincoln to smile

This was my sisters attempt at professional photography :)

This is not the best pic, but I had to include it because it is SUCH a Joey face!

Getting started
Lincoln started t-ball this year and has had 3 practices so far. 2 went well, I guess 66% is pretty good for a 3 yr old, the other he got mad in warm ups and sat on the sideline until 10 minutes before practice was over, I'm told this is normal :)
I already regret signing him up, I think he is just too young, he is 3 and turns 4 5 days before the cutoff for playing on the team. I think waiting till next year would have been better- but too late now! The games do not start until the end of March so maybe he just needs a little more time.
First Practice

warmups

running home (no where near the base)

lunch after at taco cabana
Practice 2- he's ready!

Practice 3

ready to bat!
