Recently...

Lincolns 3 yr school pic, he is still only going to MDO once a week, but he LOVES it. I am sure he will enjoy going 2 days next year- and I am hoping that gets him ready for Kindergarten the year after- really? 5 days a week for 8 hours, I dont see how I will survive!
Sometimes, on Saturdays Lincoln and I have lunch with Joey at work. I thought this was the cutest thing! Never to early to learn Daddys business- haha!

Halloween 2011

I CAN NOT believe it is already November! Is it too soon to put up the Christmas Tree??? HAHA, Lincoln has had an interesting Halloween... first we took him to the Family Fun Fest at our church and realized he is permanently scared from a previous bad bounce house expereince, he had a meltdown at the festival when we tried to get him to go through one.
He almost got into the whole "trick or treat" thing, until we approached a house with a motion sensor screaching cat that freaked him out, after that he just wanted to go home. We went to 5 houses in our neighborhood (which apparently is a really good neighborhood to be in, EVERYONE was out passing out candy). He got half a pumpkin full just from those 5 houses!
Plus, since we live on the corner of a still under construction street we didnt get a single trick or treater once we were home- so we also have a FULL bowl of our own candy too (just what i need!)

Better late than never...

For Lincolns birthday the first 2 years we took him to great wolf lodge. Our plan was to take him every year- at least until he was old enough to ask for something different. For his 3rd birthday, we planned to do that same until we realized his birthday fell on Easter. We didnt want to get up, do the Easter Bunny thing, go to church and then go to the hotel to celebrate the same day so we put a hold on going to great wolf, until last weekend. We finally got to go and this was deffinitely the best year yet. Lincoln was big enough to go on rides and slides, and because it was August- we got to go in the outside area for the first time! It was a great mini-vacation and we cant wait to go back for his 4th birthday! He was very brave- last year we didnt get him on the smallest slide till the morning we were leaving, this time he did that immeditately, moved up to the bigger slide, and THEN moved over to the "big kid" slides too, I was very impressed!
Just checked in
fun in the water

I have one of these from last year too, he got alot taller!

First day of School- 3 Yrs

Lincoln started MDO today. He only goes once a week, but it is "school" for him. He went last year and loved it while he was there, but he never got used to being left by Mommy, I am hoping that he does better this year.

Today he was great, he was excited to go. He got nervous when we got there but he walked in to class and didnt cry or look back. I hope he is happy to have gone when I pick him up.

My house is SO quiet without him here, litterally all I hear is our dogs snoring! I CAN NOT imagine the day that I take him to kindergarten all day, every day! I have two years to prepare for that though :)

Gage is 5!

I have not posted a blog in quite a while, the Iphone has ruined me. I used to take my camera everywhere, now I never do because I have my phone- but I fail to remember to whip my phone out and take pics very often! I'll try to do better :)

We went to Chuck E. Cheese's on Saturday for Gage's (Lincs cousin) 5th birthday party. I was actually fairly shocked, Lincoln did not want to do anything, he was too "scared" of the rides (which are teeny and not scary at all). I will have to get him out of this stage- because it drives me a little crazy!

Lincoln waiting for cake, which he was asking for as soon as we got there :)

Here is Gage about to blow out his candles, finally! cake for Linc :)

Linc got in this truck with the boys, before he realized it moved!

I finally got him to try it, he was not happy about this

Although he didnt want to do much, he had a great time! I took this a few seconds before he passed out on the way home. It still surpises me that Gage is already 5 and going to school this year- I cant beleive this will be Lincoln soon- hopefully not too soon! These next two years can crawl by, that is fine with me!

Lincolns first professional sports event (i think)

Joey got tickets to the FC Dallas game Sunday and we took Lincoln. I think this was the first professional sporting event he has been to, I could be wrong. He loved it! However the game was rained out at half time and we got out of there just before it started poring! We went to Blue Goose after and sat on the covered patio while Lincoln and another 3 year old played in the puddles- BOYS!

Gotta love him striking a pose!

Past Due!

This post is a little late but I just remembered I had these pics. The last two years we took Lincoln to Great Wolf Lodge for his birthday, we totally planned to do the same thing this year until we realized his birthday was the day after Easter. We didnt want to take him to great wolf for his birthday after getting up and hunting eggs etc. So we decided to post pone... still need to book that.

So on Lincolns birthday we took him to play at Dave and Busters. Lincoln and Daddy love to do that, I usually take the time to shop at the mall alone, but I couldn't leave him to play on his bday without me! I still can not believe he is 3.
